Instrumentation/Methodology
Fluorescent labeled DNA probes hybridized to chromosomal DNA in interphase or metaphase cell preparations and detected by fluorescence microscopy
Additional Information
Detects diagnostic and prognostic copy number and chromosomal rearrangement events. Monitors response to therapy and opposite sex transplantation status. Testing approach may utilize locus-specific probes and/or repeat -sequence probes for genes or chromosomes of interest. Multi-probe panels may be used for diagnoses that have multiple known aberrations, for example: ALL, AML, MDS/MPN, CLL, PCN
