Drawing instructions:
- IV - 30" post loading dose
- If continuous infusion follows, check level at 6 & 12 hr after beginning infusion
- Oral - 2 hr post (rapid release) 4 hr post (sustained release)
Monitor caffeine as well in neonates

Volume: 1 mL in vacutainer or 500 uL in microtainer
