Preferred: Lavender top (EDTA)

Acceptable: Green top (sodium heparin)

Submission Container/Tube: Plastic vial

Specimen Volume: 0.5 mL

Collection Instructions:

1. Draw blood and centrifuge immediately.

2. Aliquot plasma into plastic vial.

3. Do not expose specimen to heat or direct sunlight.
