Additional Information

The rotational thromboelastometry (ROTEM) test is a blood test used to assess whole blood hemostasis. It's used to diagnose and treat bleeding from a variety of causes, and to monitor blood clotting during and after surgery. A graph is uploaded to the patient chart upon completion of testing. Viewing is also available via GemWeb Live.
